A bit of update . . .
« on: January 14, 2018, 05:48:24 pm »
Now then, it's been a while since I last posted on here. Last year started with me having to have a pacemaker fitted to correct an irregular heart beat  :o. Which meant I was unable to do much for over a month. It also means I can no longer do any more welding, although I was not very good at it I enjoyed doing it. Any how I managed to get the headlights sorted so they are MOT compliant for it test in May last year which it passed with no problems. I've recently had the rear underrun bar modified and had a detachable tow fitted also at the same time the side guards were shorten so they stop before the step in stead of running underneath which I didn't really like the look of. I have attached a picture to show what the headlights look like now.

Those lights are well suited to the 1300. Do you get to use the Unimog off road at all?

Not at the moment, would like to . That's why a I asked the question in another post about any thing happening this year . The nearest pay and play site to me won't allow me to play in my Unimog  :(

Hi Ziggy,

Have you spoken to your doctor about welding? I was under the impression that only High frequency welding would cause an issue with Heart conditions? But I wouldn't take my word for it!

Cheers, Brian
