I've seriously considered trading my Ranger in for one of these. They look very practical for all but the harder off road work? I guess when it does come to off road it wouldn't be much of an improvement?!
dont, dad says theyre slow, and not much good for anything apart from council work, hence why they weren't for sale in the uk for very long

Whilst I was following your link I had a quick search for Unimog on there - there are hundreds of them. And at what look like fairly decent prices too. Not just vehicles but kit - mowers, loaders, you name it there are several. Even a little Westfalia looking thing!
Have you and your dad ever had any dealings with importing kit or vehicles? Another thing I noticed is that with the German TUV thingy, the mogs generally look in a better condition? There are U900's on there at about 8000 euro that look like they've never done any work! Usually orange, which I think is their council/utility standard colour?
I'm a bit miffed at the moment. This summer has been poor for work and both me and the chap I sub for are feeling the pinch a bit - if this winter is anything like the forecasters say I'm going to struggle. That's the mog out of the window for another year... A year when a mog would be bloody handy if the forecasters are right!
what westfalia looking thing, got a link? pm if you can, im looking for a cab

ive never had anything to do with importing vehicles, but im sure dad will have

and yeah, in germany theres no such thing as an agricultural vehicle, they all have to be tested

so safety wise they are generally in good condition.
orange is their council colour

that always the way, things turn up when you cant afford them

and when you can, theyre hard to find!
