I really like the hard top 404 I've attempted to fit in them when I've been in Germany no chance !
what are plans regarding the engine is it m180 or a m130 being a fire engine it would be nice if it where a m130.
loads of people talk about putting diesels in 404s but LPG would be my preference quit power and good top speed and the fuel won't be far from the diesel.
Your only up the road from us your more than welcome to visit, we are going to Newby Hall vintage rally 7th June there's usually a good selection of Unimog nuts There ! And of course the Unimog meet down south.
