It will be a play toy, so mostly off road, but I also want to put a flatbed on because I will also use it to help collect the hay and straw bails in the summer, (my wife and her friend have horses)

I see what you mean about the weight over the rear, but I was also trying to keep the all up weight down, for "towing on a trailer" reason when we go far away playing, (my friend just came back from Germany, ferstenau forest, it's an army training ground, it's big) he said it was great there. (let's organise a unimog day? )
There is a dealer not to far from me, with lots of 404 and other models, and parts still, but as you say the prices are going up!

I will try and upload some pictures, (is this a good section or another?)
