Hi Jay. Welcome to UCUK.

What do you do with your mog? Is it a work or hobby truck? With a radio back I'd lean towards ideas of a camper, but could easily be wrong! Do you know it's history?

Hi Jay, welcome to the club :)

I'm interested to know what your diesel conversion is?

Cheers, Brian

Hi,

It history is as I can tell was obviously assigned to some army somewhere to someone who brought it and travelled around Africa, the guy I brought it of was a big mog enthusiast had had it a while and took it to shows and did all the mechanics on it.
When I brought it the back was a mess and the paint was peeling on the cab, I set about gutting the back and remodelling and building a nice usable interior with intention of travelling with it, but situations have changed and it now need to be sold. I have had it in eBay for a while and only had time wasters and dreamers come to look at it.
I have loads of pictures on eBay if anyone would like to have a look at them this is the link

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UNIMOG-404-DIESEL-EXPEDITION-CAMPER-SUPPORT-VEHICLE-OVERLAND-4WD-VEHICLE-/281326312578?pt=UK_Campers_Caravans_Motorhomes&hash=item41805adc82

Unfortunately I need to sell this one but hope in the future to strip the back of another one, probably a newer model  and built entirely a lighter back as I intended with this one.

Hello Jay what a shame you need to get rid, I'm intrigued as to what engine is in your Mog ? They put OM 615 and 616 in from the factory but very rare.
If it's a Merc lump and indeed a OM617 that would make for a very reliable motor if a little steady but speed isn't what most over landers need  :D
Good luck with your sale
