I insure mine as a historic tractor. No work use, hobby driving on the road is fine but not commuting (who's going to know?). I can do 1000 miles per year. Don't use red - it's not legal for show tractors.

All vehicles on the road need to be safe regardless of no MOT, if you have an accident and a fault is found they wil prosecute or indeed if they stop you and find a fault, that applies to tractors and vehicles pre 1960 that are MOT exempt.

Yes of course it will be maintained properly, I'm a stickler for that. I just wanted to be 100% sure of the law before I take the plunge and get one ☺
