How to add pictures

This tutorial will show you how to upload pictures:
there are 2 methods for uploading pictures:
The first is to attach images, this means you will have them uploaded as "files" so the pictures will not be placed directly in your post.



simply browse for a picture on your computer by selecting browse, then select the image. to select more pictures, just click "more attachments" and repeat the process.

your picture will be attached.

If you want to upload pictures directly to your post, you need to create an account with Photobucket, Imageshack or another photo hosting website.
From here on i am going to show how to use Photobucket, as this is what i use.
To upload files from your computer click the "upload" link

Then click the "browse files" button.

Select the photos you wish to use, to select more than one hold [Ctrl].
After you have selected your photos click the "upload" button, at the bottom right.

Once the images are uploaded follow the "view library" link

Then hover over the gear in the top right of the picture you wish to post and go down to the "Get media links" tab,

 click on the "IMG code" and it will be copied

Right click and paste this into your post


There you have it, Your pictures should be on your post, to make sure, preview your post first  :)

Can you add photos using Facebook ?

currently not directly,
But if you click "options>get link" on facebook it brings up a window with the image location (url). highlight the link and copy it.

Then above the box youre typing your message in to theres this image
click it, these BB codes apear "[img*][/img]" (no star in the top right though, i have to put that for the code to show in the post) copy the link inbetween the 2 codes and thats it. its a lot simpler than it sound when i describe it, and a lot easier than having to add them to an image hosting site all the time. :)

If you use mozilla firefox for a browser (my preferred system for general internet surfing) you can in theory do this with any image on the net, simply right click the image, select "copy link location" and copy it between the BB codes :)

Is it possible to attach a photo (from my computer) on the private messages? I cant see how to do it  :'(
