I found a person on Ebay for the cylinders for my U900, they were from europe so open up your search and use the german for Brake as well as unimog.  They were spot on and really cheap.

they wil probs need resleaving, these guys do stainless http://www.powerbrakes.com.au/index.php/selectedContent/2000398759 , its expensive but probably cheaper than a new one from merc.

rebuilding them is a nice simple job, just be carefull when you pull the rubber boot back as the pins can ping out.

westfield are a good company, never used vk but their prices seem reasonable.

I have bought a few bits from VK Cars  http://www.vkcars.be/en/ and Westfield 4x4 http://www.west-4x4.demon.co.uk/  Both companies have been fine to deal with.
