Title: Re: rotzler winches

It looks a bit fancy to me. Well thought out, but I wonder how well they cope with mud?

no idea, but i would imagine it wouldnt be to much of a problem, the sensors arent too close to the cable, and the mud wont cause any kinks in the cable because the rope isnt under any strain in the drum. :)

Thats the one. Mounted on their own bumper frame. I tend to fire the diff locks in and reverse up a yard or two aswell!! Things tend to happen a bit quicker then :)

As long as it earns it's keep that's what it's for. I'm sure that's the same make I used are those the ones that Atkinson vos sell? I go so impatient in my mates with the time it was taking to winch a tree over I jumped in the mog and threw it into reverse  :D

Heyup Robert hows the u900 grafting away busy I bet with these winds. Its treedweller from arbtalk by the way. My winch has come into its own recently with windblown and hung up trees all over the shop I just wish it was a bit quicker.

Doing good mate, we have not had that many winds up here but it's still working away, what model winch do you have on yours, sounds like a hydraulic one by the speed.

theyre a gorgeous winch, incredible engineering. you pay for it though, but personally i believe the rotzler winch's are better than werner from an engineering and design point of view.
