Ok, take three... I've found a UK supplier of the fitting I need. I've ordered two.
If that fails, I'll try that place where you may or may not have got yours from! :D
I'm trying to avoid tipping the cab until it's been properly repaired. If I can get my full length hose to fit it will mean I can get the repairs done to the cab under cover rather than out on my driveway. Having it moving before the cab tilt is needed will be a real bonus. I can always return to the genuine parts later when it's solid enough to tilt again.

try ACP, he makes all his own hoses up :) and i've no idea where the 1100 ones are from :P

Try getting lines made in mog size... I haven't found anyone offering that thread yet! Any pointers? You've got nice pretty ones on your 1100... ;)

I'd just get a new line if i were you mate, better than all the faffing around and waiting for bits :)

Looks like I'm not the only person who messes things up through rushing...
I managed to find a supplier of adaptors for the clutch pipe on ebay, but they were in the US. I figured that as I couldn't find them here I would just have to wait a while and order them from there. Well they arrived today, but they're the wrong size! So much for waiting 3 weeks being worth it in the end - I still haven't got what I need!
Sometimes I get the feeling that nothing's going to go my way on this. I wonder if it will ever move again?! :-[
Edit... On a positive note the chipper is now sorted. It was sucking air through a **** fuel pipe and running lean. A low cost fix... Just what I needed!

I was just really looking forward to taking it out. It hasn't moved for over a month. I was really excited when the hose arrived but hey ho. As you say, I shouldn't dwell on it.
The chipper is struggling under load. It starts, ticks over and picks up to flat out just fine from cold but when revving the engine up once it's warm or feeding it anything over 2" it starts misfiring really badly. It was serviced around 10 hours ago so new filters, oil, clean plugs etc... I'm baffled. Think it's an electrical issue.

these things happen mate, i would chill and enjoy the weekend. whats wrong with the chipper?
-
First my chipper broke down which I need for Monday, and then to give me a little cheer followed swiftly by a slap in the face, my clutch line arrived.
Guess who stuck his calipers into the female fitting of his slave cylinder and got a 10mm reading, so ordered M10x1 hose ends... What an absolute d**khead! I forgot to allow for the thread! It's an M12x1. You can get adaptors, but they won't be here for days.
I am not a happy camper. How stupid can you get! >:(
