They're not that easy to find :) (we had one a while ago, but it went to someone who needed it more) but you can make them yourself, using an original bumper, and buying some din plate brackets :)

I didn't know such a thing existed. I wonder how easy one of those would be to find?! Something tells me not that easy at all!

Niel, If you're after a din mounted winch, did you know you can get a din mounted bumper ;) that way you unhuck the bumper when you fit the winch, then put it back on when you don't have the winch on :)

That's a very helpful tip, thanks. I've started fitting it with a large piece of steel angle but don't really like how it's looking. I need to get someone who's good with a welder to make me a bumper and include my din plate in the design. Ideally I would like to be able to unclip the winch and remount it on another plate of the same design on the rear, or on the linkage.
I did try to fathom a mid mount design but it's a bit beyond me to be honest. I don't know where to start and even if I did make it, running the cable would be a nightmare!

My 406 has a large piece of steel plate bolted to the chassis rails at the front to mount a hydraulic winch.
Not the best shot to give good detail, but this may help with the winch instal

Looks a nice truck, and getting a bit of work under its belt with the plants in the back.
You`ve problely seen it but the is a short video of your mog on AVos, utube channel.

I like the bumper. Is it made of C channel? I need to make one for mine at some point to hold the winch and I'd like to have a towing point on the front. Not sure how to go about it though.

No dont worry about it robert i know it wasnt. Im just really fussy about keepinn my vehicles in good nic cosmeticaly even the lawn mower gets a polish every now and again! :D They just said it was a bit crunchy diddnt need repairing, i understand what you mean with the paint though, no good just covering the rust up but it does mean i can sort a bit at a time and it still looks good. They did explain that it had been freshend up prior to sale and that to sort everything to a standard that you would expect if you had taken it in to be sorted would have cost a fair bit, another reason why i wanted one that was in good shape to start with, funding it in the first place was a real struggle without any further dear jobs to do

My comment was not a dig at your mog personally mate, I'm sure it's fine. I prefer to see a vehicle used but maintained, everything painted for me would start alarm bells going. Was yours the 406 that needed the gearbox repaired at vos prior to sale ?
Post some more pictures though we all like mog **** :)

Lets see some more then...
I need to have a go at getting my speedo working, and the cab welded, and the brakes working, and the fitting of the rear linkage finished off... It seems never ending at first doesn't it!

Aye maybe they have, suits me though, you can soon rack up a fair old bill on paint and wotnot in halfords.
Got the indicators working today, took 4 hours but got there in the end.
Sust the pics out also, they had .jpeg on the file name but were actually preview files.

Finally got round to posting some pics. On the whole i think its in fairly good condition, slowly going through it getting to the rust under the paint, basically getting it weather tight before winter sets in and prevents me doing owt with it. Just purchased a large tarp to cover the cab up, hopefully prevent more rot. Mind you some of the projects that are been undertaken on this site make this seem positively brand new, its enough work for me though.
