The orange thing looks fun whatever it is, I like all the pedals?! it's not in my Merc unimog implement manual 1989, so will have to keep guessing, edging thingy is my guess but why do you need an operator and pedals?.

The compressor is possibly a Mahle2200, gives 2200lt/min, what a monster!

I think it was a compressor for a pneumatic drill. The type of thing used for digging up the road. I'm sure I have some old black and whites of them being used.
