Only 405/70r20 best size you'll get on your Mog, starting from BKT TO AC 70 finish with xm47 you pays your money :)

For real grip off road, the Agri tyres are hard to beat.
For me the MPT-80 tyres were absolute pants off road.I bought some 60kmph agri tyres from germany last year.I only trundle about so they do for me.I found them by just googling my tyre dimensions untill somthing suitable came up.They were about £450 each including delivery to Norway.
I don't do alot of road miles so can't comment on their durability.

Vos sell a 12.5R20 Agri pattern tyre made by Mitas. Could that be an option?
-
I'd speak to Simon at Vos and ask him for advise, I've always found him helpful.
He's going to know all about them and if you tell him what your after he may well have a set in which is not on the website yet.

Atkinson VOS have continental AC70G in 405/70 at reasonable money. Are 405's ok on standard 11 inch rims?
-
Have you looked t BKT's?
-
It's really a question of the look. It's currently on Michelin XM27 405/70 (well worn) and I'd like to keep the tractor tyre look but trying to reduce tyre width, there doesn't appear to be any smaller high speed agricultural tyres out there. Unless I go to the michelins used by the army but am I then sacrificing grip?
-
As no one has replied I thought someone aught to.
I wouldn't be bothered, if their speed rated and the correct load rating then happy days, and as long as the price reflects the quality of tyre that's ok.
The only thing i'm aware of is the 'footprint' grows a lot larger when you let them down for traction on a radial, so if your using it for work in wet conditions you may leave deeper ruts.
You can always get a set from atkinson vos if you don't like crossplys

Does anyone have an opinion on
12.5-20 12 PLY PETLAS PM-50 TL tyres
they have a 80kph rating so are ok for the MOG it's just the crossply vs radial tyre argument.
