I will do when she's out earning her keep :-)
So your new one will be an offroader then? You'll be giving moose a run for his money lol
-
Nice one let's see some pictures .I've just got some buckets seats taking it off-roading at the end of the mouth
-
Ok so its happened to me now. Been looking at MB trac's and tractors but I ended up with another u900!! I swear the silver start is an addiction! Lol
-
I've never noticed a problem with my handbrake..... There aren't that many hills round but still
-
Here you go
-
This is just more evidence that you are a true Unimog geek Bri! I have to say, it would have me mumbling about it under my breath too! :D
-
It tickles me every time i watch "die hard: A good day to die hard" when there in the supposedly UHN unimog (which is actually a 1300l with a UHN grill and bonnet) and then he pulls the handbrake on to do a turn... the cable operated handbrake... in a UHN Unimog. The U1300l is even air operated! :-*
-
The standard ones certainly don't seem to hold as well as they should for such a tough vehicle. I've driven up several soil piles and put it on only to roll back where I came from! And that's with all new brake parts that are correctly adjusted! ::)
-
Mine has a air hand brake, been told it works better but ive never used a normal one so couldnt tell you if this is the case.
-
I've heard of folk adding air handbrakes to round cabs before. Not sure of the advantage? Maybe they work better?
Re. The air line. Do you mean trailer air at the back or a line to connect tools to? I fancy adding the latter to mine as my tyre charging point doesn't seem to exist.
I don't know about the newer round cabs being longer? I thought that once the u600 got larger they were all the same size. In the world of mogs, nothing ever surprises me! Mine has a very slightly shorted load bed which makes it look longer. Could that be the case with yours?
-
Will get some pictures at the weekend. its got an air hand brake and an air line must have been added buy someone. Rite thinking of putting my hiab on this one off my u800 but my new new one looks longer are they the same chassis ?
-
Have you lost your camera or something? Come on man, don't keep us in suspense! ::)
-
Nice going! They never fail to put a smile on your face when the wheels turn!
-
Happy days! :D
The things that keep Mog men happy. Let's have a look at her? :)
-
got up this morning at 5.30 to pick the mog up . drove it the 70 miles back didn't miss a beat so happy days :D
-
I think I'm about to join the 'oops I seem to have another mog' club lol. Its a nice mog though. Where did you find her?
-
Hi,
a nice 406 or is it a 403. But the Eller Hardtop seems to be quite in good condition. If you need spares like rubber seals, no problem Eller Germany is still supplying spares.
Regards,
Markus
