Hi,
I'm not sure they would be able to help (I hope you can prove me wrong) when doing a search for my stalwarts history I had to send a cheque for £25 (non refundable if no records found) to military vehicle museum, (I believe it has now changed location) but as the 404 was not in UK service you won't find its history through the usual UK channels. It will either be ex German, Belgian or French army.
I wish you luck.
Cheers
Shaun

Hi David,
There's not a lot I can do to help about your vehicles history, but you might want to try contacting the Military vehicles trust, they might be able to help in some way :)

The people who will know are moose and brian but there away playing in some mud and won't be back for a week or so.
Usually the dealers have info on most of the unimogs but doubt they will have anything with it being military :-/

Hi everyone,
I have a 1959 404 and it is ex army - which army I don't know, but as I have a chassis number, I wondered if there was an organisation that could trace military service records from the chassis number?
I seem to remember a few years ago searching via Google and seeing a post somewhere saying it was possible?
I'd like to know where my mog has been over its life.
Thanks
David
