thankfully im not a girly girl, and I too know when to lock brian in the shed so he can shout at himself whilst I enjoy a cuppa with my feet up enjoying a good book!

It's happened a couple of times :P

there is a certain element of satisfaction when a lad that looks like he belongs on the second row of a rugby team, needs help/advice from a lass not much taller than 5 foot and normal wearing some shade of pink with a fresh set of acrylic nails!

definitely loving learning the more hands on mechanic side rather than what looks pretty - being on the car scene the past few years has turned me into a perfectionist looks-wise unfortunately!

being brought up around bikes and circuit racing, I don't think I have any experience in a cheap hobby so it looks like a mog is now on my 'would love to own one day' list!

Hannah's Christmas presents from myself ranged from a Pandora charm to a welding mask, Hannah was more excited by the welding mask :D

Tidy  :)

I cannot say that welding is on Kelly's assistance list (probably put off by my ability to tan or burn myself  :o )

Though I have to say that after many years of practice and failures I find a lady that will help in the workshop understands a lot easier  :D

whilst knocking the spots of many of the men as a petite women with acrylic nails surely cannot operate a winch and remove cars from their various resting places can they  :D

Haha, Hannah get's similar treatment off people as well, however she loves to be in the garage and indeed will possibly be helping me weld some cab repairs on the 411 this weekend :)

Ha ha well from my limited experience of Mogs any taste in Mogs is expensive!  ;)

Now I am off to fix the typo in my first post. Please excuse me as bed will shortly be replaced with be   :)

Fortunately Kelly is learning the toolbox too and when to just shut the door on me as she leaves the barn and I sob or gently simmer! She also works with me when we run the Mog for rally recovery duties at everything from club rallies to the WRC, whilst knocking the spots of many of the men as a petite women with acrylic nails surely cannot operate a winch and remove cars from their various resting places can they  :D

its about time someone kicked his num into gear definitely!

in the space of a week I have organised the meet and got some hoodies sorted!

as for the women driver comments,

brian crapped himself when he let me drive their sprinter  off road the other week, so ive not been let loose in a unimog yet!

it is probably for the best though, as I made the mistake of telling brian all the damaged I did to my ute when in Australia!

Scrolling through the forum I spotted your profile picture and thought I'd seen your face before. Now I've figured out where from... Facebook!

Welcome to the forum. It's great to have someone here to take charge of Brian and get him moving on things like the club meet! It's probably safer to skip the girl driving a mog comments - you're probably better at it than me!

And so the male to female members ratio officially becomes 341:1! :D

Just so you all know, Hannah is also the one that's organising most of the club meet :) (lets face it, it would never be happening if it was up to me to organise it)

And is also helping with ideas and designs for club merchandise, (currently on with mugs at the mo ;) )

So Hannah will play a big role within the club, so be nice ;)

Hello to  all you 'mog heads!

I'm Hannah, Brian's better half, and very new to unimogs!

If you'd have asked me 6 months ago what a unimog was I wouldn't have had a clue!!

I have been brought up around motorbikes, and the only form of off-roading I knew of was either on two wheels or in my uncles old landy! Oh and my dad had an ex military long wheelbase landy years back, but that never saw muck!

Living in Australia for a year, showed me a different side of off-roading though, SAND?! low tyre pressure and my ute went better backwards than it did forwards - and no its not because i'm a female driver!!

Brian and Moose have showed me a whole new way of appreciating the world of off-roading via trialing and mogs - thank you!

That's all for now!

Hannah

PS. keep an eye out for merchandise and other exciting this happening with the cub in the near future!
