Hi Rob and Sue,

The air system on a mog runs at either 8 or 16 bar, depending on the mog specs, generally the 16 bar systems were fitted when there was a lack of space on the chassis.
However every consumer on any mog runs at 8 bar (y)

Lol 😉
Well all fitted, all plumbed in, and the solenoid wired up to a button on the top of the dash in easy reach of both passenger and driver 😜

Very nice! if you get another, slightly shorter or longer one for your next birthday and fit it along side it'll help make the noise fuller and give it more body!  :)

GEEK!! 😂
It's not the size Castro it's knowing what to do with it 😀😀😀

Lol you better tell brain about that and quick 😂

Well, it took a bit of time between work days and family stuff, but here 'tis! Unfortunately the garden isn't wide enough to get a shot of the whole thing... but here's the view across the roof now, complete with shiny new air horn. :)
Now all we need to do is finish hooking it up to the air system...
Does anybody know offhand what pressure the auxiliary circuit runs at?

Rob knows the way to his woman's heart is via her Unimog!
For my birthday last week (combined with Christmas), he bought me a 63cm Fiamm air horn with snow guard...
Here's a link to the sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyUSrlEY5QY&feature=youtu.be (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyUSrlEY5QY&feature=youtu.be)
Just imagine THAT a hundred times louder, resounding across the gardens... hahahaha!
Rob coupled it up briefly to the tyre inflation connection on Hans to see what it sounded like - it sounded like the QEII was coming in to dock!
I can't express how happy this present makes me.

Rob ably demonstrating that even with arms as long as his, the new horn is longer!
