Sorry to hear you had so many issues with the caddy. I'm a big fan of the VW/Audi group. Out of all the cars I've owned they've given me the least trouble. I guess it helps that a good mate of mine and my other half's uncle are both VW/Audi specialists so any minor niggles can be stamped on before they grow into something serious.
I agree with what you're saying about the Bowlers, Top Gear really does like to shout about them and they're not the best people to give an opinion! I learned about them from being a pretty keen Land Rover fan. Land Rover shows generally include a Bowler or two...
As far as the Audi goes, well it's the only fast 4x4 estate that I know of? Merc and BMW both make cars with similar looks and power but send all of it to the rear wheels. When your mrs falls out with another driver and floors it on a roundabout, well the other cars would be off into the hedge but the Audi holds on. Women drivers... You've got to tend to their needs at the end of the day! ::)

I fell out with vw's when i had my caddy, head went on it twice, then it over heated on me on the m62, stuck on the hard shoulder at 7 oclock on a winters night, taking water from a ditch to put in it. :-\ plus the auto adjusting brake shoe systems shocking.
Never had much to do with audis :)
I find it really irritating the way top gear goes on about the bowler, if it wasnt for them the average bod on the street wouldnt have a clue what a bowler is. yes they are impressive, but we build similar things for hobbies.

I'm slowly working through the cars thing. For as long as they've been in production I've wanted...
-Golf V6 4motion - Not a bad car for the money. Now been done and sold on to fund...
-Audi S4 Avant B6 V8 - current car. And I thought the golf was quick! :o
-Unimog of some sort - hopefully next but the mrs has to keep the car, so no trade in to help with the cost.
-Audi RS6 - After talking to a mate who tunes VW/Audi's, I'll most likely never be able to afford to maintain one even if his labour was free! But they're nice cars.
-Bowler Wildcat - Just so I can drive it like I stole it without breaking anything! ;D

I think it looks mean as! 8) be nice to have chunkier tyres but theyve done that for handling i would imagine.
sod x5's, amateurs ;)
i like tinted windows, hides what in the back :)
tbh if you can afford a brabus G you can afford a standard one to wreck ;D
dream cars (in order of priority):
]Mercedes sls AMG or Brabus
G 300 with turbo diesel or possibly high compression m110 (i got that idea of my dad :P )
Vauxhall chevette
Brabus g wagon
orange=equal priority
Although which oreder they come in depends on funds! :D

Christ that's quick! Not really styled the way I would choose but a nice piece of kit none the less. I bet it would still beat the s*** out of a BMW X5 off road too assuming they still have the lockers fitted?
I like the standard G Wagon, they're nice cars. And of course anything with an AMG badge on gets respect. I'd have to dump all the tinted windows and posh alloys off of that Brabus - it's just a bit too much for my liking.

800HP, 1420 Nm torque, 0-62 mph in 4.2 seconds (thats faster than a porsche 911 carrera 8) ). completely pointless off road, but i wouldnt say no. ;D think it would look better with the spare on the back though.
