Hi everyone, I thought I'd share the progress we are making on our latest project, a 1965 U411 B.

We were contacted by a chap in Harrogate who asked us to source him a U411 after my dad (Moose) said no to selling his own. Eventually we came across a U32 in Rochdale, it was in a shipping container and had been for several years.

We made an initial trip to view the Unimog and value it, and after the customer bought it, we went to collect it in the U1450 and the Mueller trailer.

Once we got it back to Harrogate it was time to strip the cab off and check what welding needed doing.
The cab has had excessive work previously, all repairs are brazed and not finished to the highest of standards, therefor it's having new wings, drivers floors, seat bases, and repairs the the grill. At some point in the past the cross member over the gearbox had been cut to lift the cab off, I have already repaired this along with a previously damaged cab mount.

Once we got the cab off we brought it back to the workshop for welding, more images on that to come later.

The cab is now fitted to the rotary welding jig and I have already done some body work on it, I will take some pictures tomorrow and post them here.

I am getting closer to getting your poltershild sorted, I just want to get this 411 done and then I should have time to draw it up  :)

Lot of work going in to that are you building it as ag spec with 3 point linkage etc.
Nice rotisserie I could make good use of one of them.

I'd definitely say that's what my life is about :) even on my days off I'm working on cars or unimogs :D

406steve, yes it's going full Ag spec, we had linkage for it in stock, just need to source the hydraulic block and pto shafts and blocks now. I custom designed and built the rotisserie myself, yet to push the limits on what it can carry, I'm hoping it will take my w123 unstripped (y)

I've got another 411 cab to collect ready to do up for stock, an sbu/lbu cab for the same, and my dad's 411 to do up and also his 1450 and doka cab.
We've also got a customer with a U2450 with a blown back axle to do as well, and I've got some pictures of casto's MB-trac which we've been working on, I'll post them now.
