Yes she'll have to pay for her keep,  I have Croft that is at the top of a track that a Land Rover can't get up when it is iced over, at other times, raining, it is a water course and it is very steep too.

What I need is something that can take a digger / back hoe attachment at one end and a bulk bucket at the other but also be able to tow implements or carry bales or boulders or hi def 6x9x18 blocks,  sand,  hard core etc for drainage  work.

I might have to go for an old JCB if I can't get hold of a Mog that can cope with all of my requirements, and a Mog to use as an oversized pick-up.

One way or the other, I want a Mog so that I can get up that track in the winter.

Hi...

Just joined the club. I've been a fan and the Unimog since I was a kid in school back in the early 70's. My tecky teacher showed us a "film" in class of a Unimog lumbering up a boulder stroon valley, I've never forgotten how impressed I was at the sight.

I'm now in a position to fulfil a life long ambition, so I'm on the lookout for my first Mog. I'd like a full agricultural short wheelbase with front and rear linkages, 4 way spool valves for front and rear,  front and rear PTO's and a 3 way tipper on the back.

Not asking for much am I !!!

If any of you are selling such a beast or know where I can lay my hands on one,  please give me a shout. Also which model variants / types / designations should I be looking for ?

Lastly what do all the "U" Numbers mean ? Is there any pattern to them ? LWB,  SWB,  Wheel Size, Engine Size ?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards.
Izz.
