Cheers for the reply mate!
Yeah I was thinking about getting the 416 and breaking it as it would make more sense. I am.also thinking about just sorting the bottem and welding a cage for the top and a perspex window and replacing the roof when I find one.
I couldn't believe the price of Vos for a reconditioned cab!

Yeah I was really lucky. Fortunately they were silaging next door so we just pulled it over with a chain.

I am back to square one now. I'm going to take everything apart and restore the full Mog. It's been a really good assist to my business and I am going to Gretna tractor soon to do the towing work and make the Mog into a winch tractor!

Really need to update this more often.

I am still struggling to upload photos tho.

Finally got the Mog sorted to somewhere I was using it, I made a fixed pickup hitch and attached my Botex trailer to it.

Long story short I was coming home in the Mog and went round a right hand corner a bit fast and had a blow out, it through the Mog on it's side and me out of the window. luckily I was ok  but the cab is totalled and I am on the look out for any condition cab just to get it back working.

Yeah, I get the road tow really cheap and it sucks Laylandii through like nothing.
That's what I want to do but the young lad I have working for me can't drive yet and I don't trust him driving the mog.

Going to try and get the NATO hitch off tonight, any tips on how it comes off?

Was strolling through a few pages and found this, I think it's a 411 but not sure. Could anyone of you boffins identity it.

She did the job of running chip back and forth no problem. We figured out it was 21 cubic meters of chip we took away in the end it was a long day!

Yeah still haven't figured out how to mount the chipper on, even thinking of making a top link bracket actually on the chipper body. Will sort it out and get back to it.

Just found that out tonight Casto, the body will only lift 200mm. I am not sure if it's going to work and I need it for the weekend. Cutting the floor sounds the easiest option if I am honest, I will crack on with it tomorrow night. Happy to see it with everything on tho. I have a din plate and front links to go on, I am thinking of just using the front to transport it and put it on the rear to chip. I have a double drum winch that I wanted to go on the front.

Finally got the back on tonight. It's took a bit of figuring out on the tipping ram but it works. The back seems to hang over a foot and I am worried that the chipper will catch on the back. If anyone has a chipper on, could you measure from the back of the mog to the front flywheel plate on the chipper please. I haven't bought the link arms yet so I could make my own up that would be longer.
Sorry for crap photos, bloody late nights.

I don't think they were leaking, I had a look around to see if I could hear any leaks but I couldn't find any. If it's left for a few days the tank still holds air in it. You can smell like gearbox oil but I kind of thought that was just normal.

Anyways, I did a 738 mile round trip at 16.6 mpg on the way back and bought a chipper and tipping box which was off an old transit then converted for a u900. I am well pleased with these buys. I am giving myself a bit of a push and going to try getting them on and working for the weekend. Started getting the hydraulics all connected up. Do you have to have the link arms all the way up when you go to use the tipping ram, I am really struggling to figure out how it all goes.

If anyone has a spare set of link arms I would be interested in purchasing them.

Has anyone get any tips for insuring the mog, I went to go through Nfu but they told me that they don't insure unimogs and Trust insurance is quoting me £800!
