Hi Brian, Thanks for the reply!
Yes, the more I look at them I think the 411 would be ideal. The only trouble is finding one for sale that I can look at? Are they generally worth more being as there are less about?
Cheers Jonny.

Also, WD40 is water based so will make the rust worse in the long run.... it's fine as a penetrating oil though to free up rusted nuts/bolts, just not long term.

Hi Phil, thanks for the insight. I will bear it in mind when I start looking......I have a classic car to find a new owner for before I seriously start the search. ;D

I have just registered with the club. I have admired Unimogs for as long as I can remember and would love to own one, I currently own a vintage tractor which works for its living on some land we have planted as an orchard and occasionally gets shown at local shows. The Unimog will be used in the same way, to be used around the orchard, moving trailers and getting firewood in and a bit of gentle off-roading! Now I have a use for one I think it's now or never to own one.
I've seen a few displays of Unimogs at various tractor shows, mainly The Tractor World Show at Malvern (not sure if anyone on here shows there?) and always try and speak to owners.
I am thinking along the lines of a 404 (smaller, more basic and possibly more manoverable than a newer mog?) something with a pto would come in handy.
Would be interested to hear owners views and if you think I am looking for the right truck for my uses?

Thanks in advance for any replies.
Jon.
