Hi moose, it is good to drive, as long as it only takes a hour or three after that a Land rover begins to look appealing, it's a u1000 on ag tyres so theres this agonising vibration and noise from the tyres, however I'm tempted to make some form of mog based holiday out of it cos Barnsley mlooks like 5 plus hours.

Mog Spotting / Hobgoblin Unimog
« Last post by shaggy on November 13, 2018, 10:09:19 pm »
Just before halloween I saw a Hobgoblin liveried Mog (1450?) headed into Manchester on the back of a truck. Since Ingrid the mog was restored under the influence of hobgoblin, I tweeted them to ask where it was going. They ignored me, so I now boycott them and drink old peculiar.

Anyone else seen it?

Tried lowering the pump Dan, it did work after a fashion but not properly. Iíve now bought a different type of pump which works a treat, the original one must av been bodged at sometime.

Sounds a great idea to me.
Been the the Scottish Land Rover Show a couple of times & feel like itís all designed to part everyone with as much money as possible.  They charge everyone who attends and do very little.
No doubt a Unimog event would be considerably smaller than a LR one, but an opportunity to get the Mog muddy have a few beers and catch up with like minded enthusiasts would be hard to beat.
Coming from Scotland - option of camping would be good.
Dan.

General Banter! / Unimog Storage - South England
« Last post by Bredenoord on November 02, 2018, 05:58:00 am »
Hi

At the moment I have my Unimog parked near my house at a local nursery. But I would love to find a place to store her inside.

Anybody got ideas? - Would love for it to be near my house (60 min)

I am based in Surbiton.

Gerard

Excellent Idea - Hope you find good dates. We need to go to SA during the Spring school holidays so I'll make it if the meeting is outside those dates.

Kind regards

Itís near Barnsley john Iíve allways found most Unimogs good to drive as long as your not in a rush. What model do you have ?
