Hi all, my first post on here as a newbie owner of a U1000 Agrar, made in 1980.  Really glad I found this site.

I've had quite a few 4x4s in the past, but this is a a big step up for me.  I belong to a voluntary organisation called Lincolnshire 4x4 Response which assists the Emergency Services, NHS and other Care providers in times of bad weather when 4x4s are needed to help them out. We're part of 4x4 Response UK, with County membership groups, like ours, in every region of the UK.

I'm trying to sort out the mystery wiring on my U1000 which has been chopped and changed a lot in the past. So far I've installed a new ignition barrel (switch failure), a windscreen wash pump (missing) and disk horns (existing air horns very dodgy).

The electrical circuitry to the horn(s) is the biggest mystery. It should be a piece of cake, but it's not. What's been done to it, I don't know! When I get to the bottom of it, I'll do another post about it in the appropriate place on the forum.  All the best,
Tom

Front left on your engine assuming it’s not been replaced with a lorry engine.

Where do you find the hour meter on a u1200 1993 model. Thanks in advance.

To put multiple pictures up you have to repeat the process

Dear Moose
Can you tell me how to do it. I find this quite a difficult site. I have plenty of photos, but don't know how to attach to this site.
