Unimog Club UK Meeting 2015 ( 'Mog-Meet '15 )
« on: July 13, 2014, 07:00:45 pm »
Hi everyone,

first off I would like to thank everyone for a great weekend, although I do feel particularly sorry for Paul, who did turn up at 1 o'clock today and everyone had left.

So this year I am preparing early, and I am looking to everyone for suggestions of next years site, I think we all agreed that the annual meet should change location every year to give those with the slower Unimogs a chance to attend.
several people this weekend showed interest in going to Kirton off road centre next year, so this is at the top of the list currently, however I am looking for other peoples suggestions as well, Ideally next years would be north of Birmingham, and then the year after, south, etc. Eventually when we get more Scottish members we will also hold a meet there.

A quick link to the KORC website
http://www.korc.co.uk/

So let me know your thoughts, I think we will also hold the event in august next year, or maybe june, so that it doesn't clash with the breslau rally  :D

cheers, Brian

Gotta be 1 of the biggest offroad sites in the country with a campsite that will allow fires (safe 1s)
And a huge lake  to keep the photographer happy

Sounds good to me. It's about 4 hours from here, so not too bad. I may have to have a punt at the motorway though if I was to take that on!

I like the water photo's!

If we can settle on the dates it would be great to get it fixed.

I would love to go to Bad Kissingen next year so it would be great if the dates do not overlap.

Gerard

I'll make some enquiries next week to see what dates can be made, in the mean time if there's any dates anyone who want's to attend can't do, please post them :)

I reckon we should try to work it so you can drag Tim along - I'd love to meet the guy after all the help he's given me.

I've got to say I'm not sure if I'm ready to put my faith in my old girl doing a long run... Mind you I am now mates with a very well priced recovery driver! Once bitten, twice shy as they say! :D

I'd feel bad to sleep in your field and drink your beer. Let us know what to bring and we'll sort that bit. A big pot of venison stew is my first choice, with some of the beer chucked in it! :D
