Where can a friend get workshop manuals for his sprinters?
« on: July 27, 2018, 03:11:55 pm »
A good friend of mine is embarking upon swapping engines in his camper from a 208D to 310D.  ???

Does anyone know where he can get workshop manuals for both from? He has been helping me with the U1000 and was overjoyed with the manuals. He has been to a local Mercedes commercial parts outlet but they were less than helpful.

The 310 is an om 602 five cylinder motor that’s a far swap if he’s going that far he’d be as well fittting one with a turbo to get him up hills. Or better still fit the om 605 ive considered this indeed I have an engine waiting they get mad power from these but I’m going to stick around 200 hp and that will give good reliability and fuel consumption,
Message me and I’ll get some details for you

Thank you Moose. I will confirm with Stuart what he is doing as he led me to believe that he was fitting a turbo engine and from you comments above it makes me think i am chasing after the wrong designation manuals.
