I must admit it was a hard choice to make, the Mog wil be for my team's use to clear snow when required and get used as a fencing truck for the rest of the time so I will get more than my fair share of it! I'll also be in charge of it's disposal as and when it needs re-homed ;)

Craig, its not like a normal torque converter. I am used to driving a large selection of plant and road going vehicles, there is a standard 4 speed manual shift with a second 2 speed and reverse lever. My understanding is that there is a viscous coupling/torque multiplier set up within the clutch designed for heavy low speed towing... beyond that I have limited knowledge of how it is set up. I did get warned that it can get interesting on steep down hills as you cant rely on the engine braking and need to use the brakes to compensate. although I have found that with similar set up machines a light use of the throttle (enough to keep up the drive) and braking works best.

We don't have any long steep sections at the park so not really an issue  :)
