i remember when i was younger the guy that does the body work for ACP told me that when you do body repairs, always cut at least an inch past the rust/rot if possible, that way your working with good steel.

i have to say on a couple of places on this cab i havent been able to go very far past the rust, and its been a right pain

we have both 1.0 and 0.8 mm wire, i have to say though, i find using the .8 a right pain

much prefer the 1mm
