Unimog 411 1960
« on: May 16, 2015, 07:36:28 pm »
Hello all,
Im new to the forum and need your help.My uncle passed away a few weeks ago and left me along with some other things,a Unimog vehicle.
Im not sure which model is because i dont see any sign somewhere, but checking in google, its seems like the same as 401,1956 year model.
It starts and move well,im not sure if it generally works perfect as i had never used it before and also seems to need alot of work externally and internally.
Because i prefer to get it sell than using it.So,what price it can get with the condition it is as seems in the photos for selling it?

Hi gmk7, could you please post up the chassis number? This should allow us to work out the model easier.
The chassis number is located on the front right of the chassis, just in front of the wheel.

Cheers, Brian

yes,im in Athens,Greece.About prices here, are very expensive and for this model i havent found something similar for sale. For example,a merchant is selling a front mask of  a 406 '76 with full motor and transmission for about 3500 euros. For restored unimogs, the prices are over 23000 euros.
What price range this mog can it be to put it for sale?

Hi Vasilis,

Looking at the condition of the mog, and the specification, if it runs I would say this would fetch around £2/4000 in the UK.
It's a shame you can't see the year clearer, as in 1966 they increased the power from 32hp to 34hp.

Cheers, Brian
