Hellow everyone, like the look of this site. I`ve attached pics of my u1600 pulling storm damaged trees over here in Northumberland. Work involves anything to do with trees. Looking for front mount werner winch  and hiab for rear. thanks daz

Nice looking rig. What size forestry winch are you running in the pics?

I'm half looking for a nice werner winch and hiab as well except for my 406 lol.do you run anything else on your 1600?

Casto, it`s a tajfun 8.5 ton remote. A good match, maybe could do with 10 ton. Run chieftain  16 ton lowloader aswell.
cheers daz ;D

Nice setup dazlog the 1600 have an inherent weakness with the rear prop shaft spline shearing when towing heavy weight it's good practice to put her in four wheel drive when she's under heavy load, also the rear diff can get hot when towing heavy loads agian 4x4 change your diff oil regularly or even better fill with sintranz allways check hub and diff temperatures when working hard if you can not keep your hand on it ! It's to hot.
