« on: February 17, 2017, 07:00:06 pm »
Hi all im after something like the above.
It will need pto to run a chipper  a tipping body would be a bonus.
I have around 6k.
Prefer something in ireland or uk
Wouldnt mind a project but nothing overly massive
Cheers in advance!

Is that around 6k inc vat or plus vat as I would imagine that to be bottom end of required budget for that type of vehicle.
(This is the part where I expect to get proven wrong & realize I paid too much for my truck)

I have a bit off movement to allow for the vat. I completly understand that at my budget im not going to get a minter! As long as the bar mechnicals are in good enough knick id be happy enough. I can get a 1300l for 5 but its ex army so non off the extras im after.

They seem to be spread wide & thin so you would probably have to travel. I expect e.bay or dispersal auctions would be good places to start looking.

I know Casto has one for sale, ex snow blower with very low hours, got rear linkage and 540/1000 speed pto. pretty sure he also has a front din plate, spider frame, and maybe a tipping body set aside for it. Just a bit rusty really, and it has the schliesing roof but they can look smart when done up properly.

Don't know if you have found anything yet but I came across this on e.bay item 192114436914. I know it is not a 406 but it does have a pto.

Just seen it myself! Emailed the seller looks like it would do me grand! I suspect theyd be more civilised than a 406 for day to day!
Cheers buddy!
