Going to drop the coolant/antifreeze in my 406, nipt upto halfords last night, there is 4 or 5 different sorts, anyone got any idea which to get or does it need a special merc type as the guy serving said

The best one to get is mercs own anti-corrosive coolant. We've got a mog that's had it in since new (we know this for a fact) and the needle always sits comfortably and never goes towards getting hot :)
