Milsurp U1300L Top Speed
« on: May 21, 2014, 06:43:54 pm »
Whilst it's not my main consideration can someone please tell me what top speed I can reasonably expect from an unloaded Ex military U1300 that is in good fettle?

As long as it will sit comfortably with HGV's on the motorway I'll be happy so I guess I'm looking for confirmation they will cruise at 50mph +

Thanks,

Mick.

They should hold 50mph with ease. Even my rather tired feeling U900 will do that on the flat. I'm not sure of the law regarding the top speed of a mog in this country, but with all the high speed kit fitted they should cruise at 70mph easily enough?

For a standard 1300l you'll get about 55mph top speed, high ration axles with standard tyres 65mph :)

Cheers for that,

As long as every HGV on the motorway isn't having to crawl past me that's quick enough.
