Following on from the other topic about another "soft" Unimog I've also looked at these a few times. Same large tyres and gearbox etc but smaller engine and I think a shallower wading depth? I wonder how one would cope with light woodland management tasks?
They look appealing because of their newer cab design, user comforts and relatively low price. But are they any good? It's another option instead of a U900 and is much less likely to have issues with the body work at such a young age, but having more electrical systems surely means they'd be a right arse to maintain/repair without the right kit? Exchange a lump hammer and spanners for a laptop kind of thing?
