I like the looks of this too

Saw it on ebay as well. I like the way the front frame has been finished off

I'd like to note the tyres, which look to be Michelin XM27, (And I believe prior to that they were branded as Michelin Bib X) The XM 27 is no longer produced unfortunately (I think it's a shame 'cause they're a really nice looking tyre) and as far as I'm aware they were designed to be used on vehicles which were destined for both mud and a large amount of grass fields. As the edges of the cleats are cut in, unlike the XM47, which the cleats stick out quite far on, and they have a 27mm tread, rather than 47mm, these tyres don't leave big dibbets in the ground, so they're good for land where minimal damage is required

Couple of thing's I would do personally, just cos of my preferences. I would change the current top for a cotton top, more from a view of aesthetics, you could get a tighter fit with cotton and they're also far more "mercedes"

Also if you plan to off road it, if it hasn't already been done, I would change the back cab mount for a single point mount, so that the chassis can flex that bit easier and safer

This is the same mog as we have, with the torque converter they pull like trains, one of dad's favourite things back when ours had the torque converter was to stick it in fifth at the dual carriage way traffic lights, and dump the clutch and gun it, it would out drag a lot of cars and certainly surprised most

Cheers, Brian
