Hi Paul. Welcome to the forum.

Just by hearing that you're an amateur landy mechanic give me some idea of your level of experience... Most weekends and evenings under the bonnet fixing bits that have fallen off right?! I'm a fan of them myself, partly because of their ease of repair. I'm not so sure about mogs but Brian the site owner and his father are almost constantly pulling something apart so will be able to help when things give. Luckily being so well made breakages don't seem to happen too often but when bits do go they look to be pretty heavy!

I'm just down from you in Gloucester so if you're in need of man power for anything give me a shout. I haven't got my own mog yet so I'll take any excuse to come and help. Unlike yourself I'm keen to learn as much as I can about them before taking the plunge!
