New member with a question

Hi folks,

Just joined. Haven't got a Mog yet but I'm close to buying a ex-German Army U1300L Ambulance (with a view to a camper conversion for a trip to Morocco this winter) and I wondered if anyone had experience or hints/tips on importing/registering that they could share with me?

There are a few people on here that have imported stuff so I'll let them speak lol.

Just had a chat with Dad,

He says get it over here, fill out a V5C form and send it off, and hopefully your reg docs should arrive in the post :)

Thanks Brian, hope dad's right as I bought TWO of 'em! Picking the first one up next week.

Have to say though, just applying for a new V5 sounds too easy. These vehicles have never been registered outside of the German Army. Time to start researching I guess.
