Stolen Unimog VRH 761W
« on: February 24, 2015, 02:53:00 pm »
Hi Guys, I had my Unimog (reg: VRH 761W) stolen in Sheffield last night (24/02/15) and would very much appreciate it if you could keep an eye out for it. There will be some damage to the front end as it was driven through a set of compound gates, A Team style!

Sorry to hear its been knicked :-( might be worth giving some of the dealers a heads up as most of them are good lads. Is there any gear they might try flogging seperate to the mog?
cant beat the smell of diesel and 2stroke in the morning :)

Sorry you've lost your mog fella. It's always a worry - they're so easy to get going and so hard to keep contained!

If I see anything familiar I'll post it up here. At least mog kit is rare - it's pretty hard to shift without other mog folk getting to hear about it!

Sorry to hear about this, hope they're caught! I'll send an email to the Unimog dealers I have in my contacts and let them know, with a link to this thread.

Do you know the chassis number? I wouldn't recommend posting it on here now with the reg number, but If anyone's offered a mog or chassis they could P.m. you with the chassis number to check, if you do know it?

Cheers, Brian

So sorry to hear of your loss. If THER is one thing I cannot stand is ----ing thieves.  Try looking around Doncaster gypsy camp area. I had a trailer stolen from hull and that's where IT ended up. Bri

Also to get the police to look through cameras in the area. They will pick it up easily. Bri

Try the places that have lorries built for scrap collection and tree surgery parked up beside caravans.  :'(
I would guess it was stolen for the crane to go on another truck rather than the mog which has a very limited market.
