Just wondering how the unimog on the farm thing went, did it seem a worthwhile event generating plenty of intrest or was it more of a case of preaching to the converted. What were the turnouts like, as expected or more or less, at least the weather held out from what i can gather wich is allus a bonus

Found a few easy watching vids on youtube by a lad called Ludwig weinfurtner, basically him fixing parts on his 411 and doing jobs with it, a kind of German version of Brian 
it’s all in German but you can kind of get the jist of what he’s on about along with seeing what he’s doing. Just thought it may be of interest to anyone with a 411 that hasn’t come across it already.

Eyup Tracey, from what i can see in the pics they seem like a major undertaking but there always seems to be someone ready for that undertaking, if not there would certanly be a whole host of parts that would be very sort after.
The guys who run this site will have a better idea on where best to advertise, theres always ebay of course or a unimog dealer might be interested.

Ah, good idea Oliver, haddnt thought of chopping them down. Anything to replace the shambles thats on it at the moment without spending a fortune. ta

Bought some replacement wiper blades from Germany last year for my 406 but wiper arms on my mog have the straight bayonet type fitting rather than the more common hook type
Been down to euro car parts but they could not help with either new arms of either type nor the blades. Rather than buying genuine mog parts off the internet does anyone know if the arms off another vehicle will fit sutch as a vw camper or a mini?

Tried lowering the pump Dan, it did work after a fashion but not properly. I’ve now bought a different type of pump which works a treat, the original one must av been bodged at sometime.

Trying to get my windscreen washer working on my 406. Bought a new pump as all pipes etc had no blockage and presumed this was the issue. Pump will only draw water direct from source not via pipe from water bottle to pump. Is this pump correct for the job or am I missing something. Does it look like what other guys have ?

Hi, regarding the lights Stafford vehicle components might be worth a look if your not bothered about them been original, otherwise there are plenty of German sights for original and upgrades but it’s just understanding it. www.vamog.de is one, mogworld de is another and they do speak good English, and then there’s our mog dealers of course
