What use will that have on an off roader? Centre mounted winch? ???

Its not staying on, its being put on the 406 145 for the crane :)

you still have to fix the bust pipe for the crane yet!  ::)

yeah, its finding the time thats the trick!!!

got some rubber for the beast!

Before and after

and with it looking mega!

375/75 Xm27's on drum brake rims painted in unimog club uk grey :)

Also found out its had serious heavy duty rims on it, so thinking about putting them on the 406.145. also found out its got heavy duty front springs on it, so no doubts theyll be getting put on the 406.145 as well to help cope with its extra weight :)

Out of interest if they are heavy duty rims are they the same as mine? I'm sure mine are heavy duty for drums?!?

nope, nout freaky about these rims, apart from they have flat faced nuts instead of dished, which we can only think is because this is a late mog. the dish on them is about 8mm thick though! serious stuff!

well dads never seen flat nuts on a 900 with standard studs before (you can fit later mog rims which you have to change the studs, they have flat nuts) so we recon its to do with it being a late mog, but also cause its on heavy duty rims.

looks mean as in the flesh, got that "come and have a go if you think youre hard enough" look about it  8)

416? this is the 416! ;) you mean the 406.145 :) nope, theyre bigger tyres on that, cant remember what they are off the top of my head, and its cold and dark outside so im not going to check  :-\ and the black mog (406.120) has 395's on it (395/85's i think)! so they would look massive!

I thought your Doka was a 416 for a long time. It looks longer with the double cab...

This one's coming along nicely. I'm thinking a 416 may be better for me now - space to mount a timber crane in front of a standard square 3 way tipper bed?

this is an 1100 416, try looking at the 1150 416! ;) remember that ideally the crane wants to be easy to dismount, you dont really want to be lugging it around all the time :)

They had a nice 1150 in AC Price's a while back. Looks too big - I still need the turning circle to be sensible.

It was a green one. Looked like it had an air con unit on the roof?

What's going on at 06:10? Taken on water would be my guess? Sounds pretty painful/expensive whatever it is!

And the guy doing donuts in the mog at the end... More money than sense springs to mind. All I could think of when I was watching it is how much those tyres cost! :-[
