I'd take a guess at early to late 60's, but that's as much as i can tell without being able to see it personally :)

Hi Brian
I think you would have enjoyed the show in Germany this summer.
Heres a picture of a nice line up of Westfalias to keep you motivated on your project.

Hi Brian

I just noticed in your engine photos that you have the hydraulic pump that uses the compressor lower casing without head and cylinder, but no spool valve block on your steering box. Does it have another set of hydraulic controls or is this all work in progress?

Hi Tim,

those photo's certainly make me a little envious (bumper jealousy right there), wonder if dad will let me take the cab off over winter and stick it in the corner of a field under a cover whilst i do some mechanical work to the old girl. :)
as for the hydraulics, she came with full linkage and hydraulics (quite unusual i believe for a westfalia), the linkage was missing before we got it, but the hub brackets for the chains were still there, dad's taken those and the hydraulic spool levers to put on his 118, can't complain, his is a running machine and he did buy the mog :D he's also offered some 421 linkage for the rear, which fits straight on providing it's a double ram chassis :)

p.s. I want a raised air intake for mine, they look so nice :)
