Werner hydraulic winch
« on: May 20, 2014, 09:51:13 am »
I was lucky enough to find a Werner hydraulic winch mounted on a very heavy anchor (3 ton excavator dozer blade). It was set up to fit with the 3 pt linkage of a U1000. I have found that my U419/900 axle mountings are a different width and so alteration are needed if I want to use the anchor. Anyone know more about Werner winches? (I only have the one pic at present as the winch is tucked away awaiting fitting, and my camera has thrown in the towel). Will post more photos when I can.

The F64 hydraulic can be converted to PTO drive quite easily, so if you get the correct winch brackets the winch will fit straight on the front of the mog. :) Do you have a 419?

That's a familiar looking setup. Did you buy it from a chap named Tom down in Hampshire by any chance?

Could you not modify this to fit your road rail bracket ? Would be better on the back for weight and clearance enabling you to keep the din plate.
