So the sun out .though ied take the unimog out got going down the road 1st bend turn the wheel knock knock from front right hand side .so put in reverse knocks and jumps .straighten up and it's ok got it back home on stands .any ideas before I start pulling to bits

Sounds like the hub. Had the problem myself, always checking the hubs since.

Have you checked your cardine joint put a bar under them with the wheels straight ahead see if there's play in them.

Well all good jumped the gun abit should have checked wheel clearance as it looks to have had an extra plate to protect the hydraulic tank and pipe work trimmed back and all good thanks for the help though
