Hello BWswede, Welcome to the forum :)

That is indeed my Dad's Unimog :) He bought it in 1996/7ish, I remember waking up in the morning and my mum bringing me downstairs, opening the door, and there in front of me was this big green army truck :)
This is my favourite of all the Unimog's, and is the one mog I've asked my dad not to sell :P

The winch is a Werner F56, one of the best really, autospool, variable speed and pull, with 7.5 tonnes LIFTING capacity.
The Winch blade, or log lifter, is also Werner, unfortunately we had the winch blade stolen several years ago now. Quite annoying as the blades themselves don't tend to be sold without the rest of the assembly, one day we'll get around to making a new one.
The reason the blade is removable is because in europe it is law that when on the road the blade is removed and put in the back. Sometimes you can come across UK blades, where it is not removable.

Just a side note, the colour is actually saft grun (colour code MB6821) It's very faded and in some camera light's does look blue :)

Everybody I speak to about this mog says they see it everywhere on the internet, but I've only ever seen it on the posts i put, and on youtube where the club has a couple of videos :P

Feel free to ask any questions :) great to have another mog fan on board. Cheers, Brian  ;D
