1950 Unimog. Interesting?

Hi there
Martin, UK national, resident in Madrid.
Hugely into classics so have found a very early Unimog, claimed to be 1950 and looks to be pre-Mercedes Benz with no star symbols. Complete but needing a rebuild.
How rare is it?

rare
regarding whether its a merc though, thats an uncertainty, the first few merc unimogs to leave gaganau in late 1950 (unimog moved to mercedes in autumn of 1950) did not have the mercedes star and still used the ox head symbol.
and welcome to unimog club uk

Hi Martin!
welcome to the club
I think i might have to pop over and see if villager has picked his jaw off the ground!!
i think you get the price for the earliest mog no here! if its a pre-merc mog, it will be interesting to know if/what differences there are compared to the merc ones. It would be great, if you get chance, to stick some pics up in what ever state it is in (cant beat mog pics
)
