the u1100, 1300 and the "freightliner military tractor" (the 419) came with 130 bhp from the factory. tuning an om352 up to 130hp is in fact incredibly simple, i am not willing though to post the info up online, because if somebody does it wrong it costs a lot of money to repair.
the om352 certainly has been turbo'd to 150bhp without causing an issue, but when you think that you can get 130 naturally aspirated, is it really worth it for that extra 20 bhp? if your going to do it, you might as well do it properly and invest the time and money in piston coolers etc... theres also the fact that mercedes then brought the 352A out with piston coolers (not all of the 352A's had piston coolers), there must have been a reason, even if it was just to prolong the life of the engine.

a prime engine that was turbo'd from the factory without coolers was the om312A, the predecessor to the om352, indirect injection the om312  was ideal for a turbo because it had a very low compression ratio. you can find the 312 on the back of 411 snow cutters, with an incredibly big turbo on the top of the head (because turbos were so inefficient back then). it only produced 115 ponies though.

there was also an m352,, which produced 130 bhp, it ran off petrol, so i wouldnt really want the fuel bill...
