Registering my mog
« on: July 26, 2017, 12:11:43 am »
Hi all I'm new to the page as I am now the owner of a mog 404. I recently purchased for very cheap however the woman told me she would send the import documents down with the mog but the lorry driver wasnt given any paperwork. Now she says she has sent them in the post but a week later and still nothing. How do I go about getting this lil beauty on the road if my fears are confirmed and she has actually just lost it or not even got it?

Has it ever been registered  in the Uk ? If not then contact MB UK and see if they'll give you a letter with date of manufacture using your chassis number then apply to Dvla. Or go straight to Dvla and you'll end up with a q plate.
Keep us informed as to how it goes.

How did you get on ?

I have an unregistered 404 too.

I have a copy of the factory sheet and all the forms from DVLA arrived today.

Not sure whether its going to be a pain or a doddle.

Hi Karl,

I have had to edit your comment as we have been asked by someone at Mercedes technical that all inquiries go through the club, I think to stop the lady who deals with these inquiries from being swamped with emails :)
We now have a direct contact for any of these inquiries though, so I am going to start a thread soon specifically for it.

Cheers, Brian

Can't seem to find it..
On the surface really deep but deep down quite shallow..
