Hiab for a 406?
« on: March 04, 2016, 12:47:07 pm »
Hi Guys.

I am considering putting a hiab on my 406 behind the cab.

Any ideas as to suitable make and size that this Mog will carry? It possibly will have a role as an on-site welder for big plant, so it will also carry a diesel welder, and an extra airtank. But I doubt the compressor will be man enough to blow up motor scraper tyres!!

I need to get going with the restoration. Have been accumulating small pieces, but I am so busy doing other things as well that I need to focus on my little Mog as soon as I have a  few spare weeks, which is going to be May at the earliest. Also does anyone know of a good upholsterer who has re-covered any seats? My local guy has now retired.

their are quote a few options, i'd recomend a search on this forum as it's been mentioned several times and i've replied before as I have a 4.5 tonne / metre radio remote control which is ideal for me.
