Hi Michael,

The oldest machine there will indeed be Barts 404. After that will be Ian's 404 and my Dad's (moose) 411 118, both of which are 1967.

As this is our first meet it is by no means going to be huge, so far we have received 5 applications, and myself and dad are going to take 3 unimogs in total, A.c.Price engineering are also aiming to bring a couple of 'mogs down. Tim is attending the breslau rally this year ( dad was also intending to go, but due to the fact that I've arranged the meet on the same weekend he's had to change his plans :P)
I have yet to hear from Tony at South cave tractors, but will contact him this week to see if he's interested :)
And this weekend I'm at Newby hall with casto, so I'll pester him to join us, he needs to have more faith in his unimog!

And it is open to spectators, just as long as they fill the form in (even if their not camping or offroading) and send the relevant payment :)

I'm also making a rule that says that there must always be 2 people within site of each other on the off road site, just so that if something happens there's someone there :)

Cheers, Brian

they can just fill in the normal form but not tick anything :) it's completely free for spectators. they don't need to put an envelope in though.
And thanks, the more people who know the better :)

Sound silly but have to ask are my passengers covered by my application form or will they have to send in 1 each for themselves ???

I've popped a post up on Benzworld to see if there are any takers there. As requested by the mods previously I haven't pushed the forum, but have just put it forward as the club meet. If people stumble across us via Google once they know we exist then that should be ok in my eyes.

I just jacked the mog up to check the remaining brakes... Looks like I'm going to have to do all of them! ::)

Got anything against Ford Ranger's Bri? :'(

I found a little grill today so plan to fit chains to the corners so it can hang from a tripod over the fire. Now all I need is a pot to do the same.

Do we really need a PTO spit? I'm most of the way to having it made but then I'm not sure what we can cook on it?! Storing large chunks of meat safely in summer could be a challenge.

Neil they sell Dutch ovens (cast pots with a lid for hanging over a fire) at the army surplus place just up the road from me at Fromes Hill.
New challenges every month, but driving one cannot be beaten.

I just had a look on their website. Can't decide between the old cast (and heavy) dutch oven or the light weight aluminium catering set. I know the cast one will cook better but it's going to weigh a bit and I think it may be worth having something that I can carry for other trips.

I assume that I would hear something as of the self addressed envelope I sent in with the forms
