missing flexible chassis and torque tubes though  :P i couldnt understand what he was on about 5 difflocks for, theres 3 axles, and a transfer box???

A locker between the two rear axles? They would need a diff just like the front to rear on a 4x4, and it would need locking to get 6x6.

i was dissapointed in villager... it took him a whole 5mins before i received the message off him about the G wagon  :D :D

i still not realy sure why you would bother with a 6x6 that weights nearly 4t. might as well have a wagon or mog. the power would be nice... in my defender  :D :P
cant beat the smell of diesel and 2stroke in the morning :)

If you stuck that much power through an R380 box I doubt it would make it back from the tuning shop without breaking something. Have you seen how much power can be pulled from a Td5 though? Quite impressive to say the least.

If only Merc weren't so snobby - I'd love a G pickup but they're like rocking horse poo around here....

Yeah td5's are awesome. A coupe of lads tuned their engines. One ran 170bhp and the other was over 250bhp. The last one, the lad couldn't find clutches strong enough for it  :D

I've heard of them pushing 400+, but they're not road legal due to emissions
